Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-03.

We do not share your mobile number, or your consent to be texted, with third parties. Opt-in data and consent collected through Corin’s texting service are not shared with, sold to, or rented to any other organization.

What we collect

When you text a photo to Corin, we receive your phone number, the photo, and any message you send. On the web, if you sign in to a beta feature, we receive whatever your account provider (see “Who we share data with,” below) gives us to verify you’re signed in. We don’t ask you to create aCorin account or password.

Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies based on your use of the service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of vendors to run the service. Each acts on our behalf:

  • Twilio carries the text messages themselves — sending and receiving on our behalf. Twilio does not use your message content for its own purposes.
  • Clerk handles sign-in for beta web features. We don’t see or store your password; Clerk verifies who you are and tells us you’re signed in.
  • SoldComps and SerpApi look up recent sale and listing prices for the kind of item you texted in, so we can price it. We send them a short description of the item, never your phone number or the photo itself.

We do not sell your information to anyone, for any reason, including these vendors.

AI-generated content

The price range and item description you receive are generated by an AI vision model (built on Meta’s Llama), not written by a person, and not looked up from a fixed price list. They are estimates and may be inaccurate — see our Terms of Service for how we describe that. If you list an item through Corin, a person — you — decides the final price and whether to list it at all; nothing is posted automatically.

How long we keep data

Once an item reaches a final state — sold, archived, or you tell us you’re done with it — we remove the photo reference, description, and condition details we kept for it. We never store the photo itself; it’s fetched only long enough to price and, if you choose to list it, to publish it, then discarded.
